Dr. Costello moved to Ormond Beach in 1977 after graduating from the University of Iowa
College of Dentistry in 1974 and spending 3 years in Sacramento, CA as a Dentist in the
Air Force. He earned a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 1992 after
completing a 2 year (600 hour) Comprehensive Dentistry Program at The University of Florida
College of Dentistry/Shands Hospital in 1991. He received Accreditation in the American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 1993.
Dr. Costello's wife, Linda, received her Masters in Social Work degree from Florida State
University in 1988 and her Masters in Christian Counseling from Faith Christian University.
Dr. Costello is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (1,900 Masters/35,000 Members)
as well as an Accredited Member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (300 Accredited
Members/7,000 Members). He is one of less than 20 dentists in the US to have earned both designations.
